Notifications

Notifications let you send messages to connected display groups. Notifications can appear as on-screen interrupts or be delivered as emails, making them useful for urgent announcements or operational alerts.

Navigate to: Sidebar → Notifications

The Notifications page shows a history of all sent notifications, with:

ColumnDescription
SubjectThe notification subject line
MessageThe notification body text
CreatedWhen the notification was sent
TypeWhether it is an email, interrupt, or both
  1. Navigate to Notifications in the sidebar.
  2. Click New Notification.
  3. Fill in:
    • Subject: the notification headline.
    • Message: the full message body.
    • Release Date (optional): schedule the notification for a future date and time; leave blank to send immediately.
    • Is Email: toggle on to also send the notification as an email to affected users.
    • Is Interrupt: toggle on to show the notification as an on-screen interrupt on targeted displays.
    • Display Groups: the display groups to target.
  4. Click Send Notification.

When Is Interrupt is enabled, the notification message is pushed to the targeted display groups and appears on screen, interrupting normal scheduled content. This is useful for urgent announcements such as closing notices, safety alerts, or time-sensitive messages.

When Is Email is enabled, the notification is also sent as an email to the users who are members of the targeted display groups.

  1. Find the notification in the list.
  2. Click the context menu → Delete Notification and confirm.

Deleting a notification removes it from the history log. If the notification was an interrupt, displays that have already shown it are not affected.

  • Admins can send and manage notifications.
  • Editors may be able to send notifications depending on your system’s role configuration.
