Campaigns

A Campaign groups related content under a single named initiative and schedules it to displays. OTS Signs supports two campaign types: List campaigns for sequencing layouts, and Ad campaigns for managing advertising content with budget or impression targets.

Navigate to: Sidebar → Campaigns

A List campaign plays an ordered sequence of layouts on displays, similar to a playlist but with campaign-level tracking. Use list campaigns for promotions, announcements, or any programme of content you want to track as a unit.

List campaigns have additional playback settings:

  • List Play Order: choose Block (play through all layouts before repeating) or Round (cycle one layout at a time across displays).
  • Cycle Playback: enables cycling behaviour across displays in a group.
  • Play Count: limit how many times the sequence plays.

An Ad campaign manages advertising content against a delivery target. Use ad campaigns when you need to:

  • Track how many times an ad has played (impressions or plays).
  • Manage a budget in dollar terms.
  • Set a target and stop delivery when the target is reached.

Ad campaign fields:

  • Target Type: choose Plays, Budget (dollars), or Impressions.
  • Target: the numeric target value.
  • Start Date / End Date: the campaign’s active period.

The Plays and Spend columns on the campaigns list show delivery progress against targets. To see detailed playback data, see Proof of Play.

The Campaigns page lists all campaigns, showing:
