Resolutions

Resolutions

The Resolutions page is where administrators define the screen resolutions available when creating layouts. Layouts are designed at a specific resolution that matches (or is scaled to) the target display’s output.

Navigate to: Sidebar → Resolutions

When you create a layout, you select a resolution that defines its canvas size. If your displays have a non-standard resolution, you can add it here so it appears as an option in the Layout Editor.

OTS Signs includes common standard resolutions by default (e.g. 1920×1080 HD, 3840×2160 4K). Add a custom resolution if your displays use a different size.

The Resolutions page lists all available resolutions, showing:

ColumnDescription
NameResolution name (e.g. “1080p HD”)
WidthWidth in pixels
HeightHeight in pixels
  1. Navigate to Resolutions in the sidebar.
  2. Click Create Resolution.
  3. Fill in:
    • Resolution Name, e.g. “1080p HD”
    • Width, e.g. 1920
    • Height, e.g. 1080
  4. Click Create Resolution.

The new resolution is available when creating a layout.

  1. Find the resolution and click the Edit button.
  2. Update the name, width, or height.
  3. Click Update Resolution.
  1. Find the resolution and click the context menu → Delete and confirm.

Resolutions used by existing layouts cannot be deleted.

  • Only Admins and OTS Admins can create, edit, and delete resolutions.
