Overrides
Overrides let you temporarily replace the content playing on one or more displays without changing your existing schedules. When an override is active, it takes over from the normal schedule. When it expires or is deleted, displays revert to their normal schedules.
Navigate to: Sidebar → Overrides
When to Use Overrides
Section titled “When to Use Overrides”Use overrides when you need to:
- Push an urgent announcement to displays immediately.
- Replace content during an event or incident.
- Test new content on live displays without changing the schedule.
- Show a “Closed” or “Be Right Back” message for a defined period.
Overrides are best for time-sensitive, one-off situations. For regular scheduled content, use Schedules instead.
