Billing Status
What trial, past-due, read-only and suspended workspaces look like, and how to recover.
Your workspace’s billing state decides whether you can use Stratos normally. Most of the time you won’t notice. This page explains what you’ll see when something needs attention.
| State | What it means | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Trial | You’re trying Stratos. A countdown banner shows how long is left (for example Your trial ends tomorrow). | Use everything your trial includes. Choose a plan any time in Settings → Subscription. |
| Trial ended | The trial ended without a subscription. | You’re taken to a Trial Ended page: Subscribe now to continue using your workspace and keep all your data. Subscribe to continue. |
| Active | Your subscription is paid and current. | Everything works. |
| Past due | A payment failed. | You keep full access during a grace period, with a banner counting down. Update your payment method to fix it. |
| Read-only | The grace period ended and the payment is still overdue. | You can view everything, but changes are blocked until the payment method is updated. |
| Suspended | The workspace has been suspended. | Contact support. You can’t use the workspace until it’s reinstated. |
| Cancelled | The subscription was cancelled. | You keep access until the end of the paid period. After that you’ll need a new subscription. |
Fix a payment problem
Section titled “Fix a payment problem”- Open Settings → Subscription (or click Update payment method on the banner or page).
- In the Stripe billing portal, update your card.
- Once the payment goes through, your workspace returns to Active.
Only people with billing access (usually the Account Owner) can do this. Others should ask them.
