Library
The Library is the central store for all files used in your signage content: images, videos, PDFs, fonts, and more. Any file you want to display on a screen must first be uploaded here.
Navigate to: Sidebar → Library
Supported File Types

Viewing Your Library
Section titled “Viewing Your Library”The Library displays all uploaded assets in a searchable list or grid. Toggle between list view and grid view using the view icons at the top-right. Use the search bar to filter by name, or use the type filter to show only a specific file category.
Each media item shows:

Uploading Media
Section titled “Uploading Media”Upload a file from your computer
Section titled “Upload a file from your computer”- Navigate to Library in the sidebar.
- Click Upload.
- Select one or more files from your computer, or drag and drop them into the upload area.
- The files will upload and appear in your library when complete.
Upload from a URL
Section titled “Upload from a URL”- Click the dropdown arrow next to Upload and select Upload from URL.
- Enter the URL of the file.
- Click Upload.
Setting an expiry date
Section titled “Setting an expiry date”When uploading, you can optionally set an expiry date. After the expiry date, the file shows a warning in the library. Files expiring within 7 days are highlighted to prompt you to review or replace them.
Media Actions
Section titled “Media Actions”Click the three-dot menu on any media item to access available actions:

Bulk Actions
Section titled “Bulk Actions”Select multiple files using the checkboxes to perform bulk actions:
- Bulk Tag: apply or remove tags from all selected files at once.
- Bulk Purge: add multiple files to the purge list at once.
Media Expiry and Retirement (Purge List)
Section titled “Media Expiry and Retirement (Purge List)”When you no longer need a file but want to keep it available temporarily, add it to the Purge List (also called retiring the file). Retired files:
- are removed from active use in layouts and playlists
- can be restored before they are permanently deleted
To retire a file: click the three-dot menu → Add to Purge List.
To restore a retired file: click the three-dot menu → Restore from Purge.
To permanently remove a retired file: click the three-dot menu → Permanently Delete.
Organising with Tags
Section titled “Organising with Tags”Tags are free-text labels you can apply to media files. Use them to group related assets — for example, summer-promo, restaurant-menu, or lobby. Manage all tags centrally from the Tags page.
Apply tags when editing a file (three-dot menu → Edit). Then use the tag filter in the library to show only files with a specific tag.
Using Media in Layouts
Section titled “Using Media in Layouts”Once uploaded, media is available to use in Layouts. When building a layout in the layout editor, you can browse and insert any file from your library directly.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”- Viewers can browse the library but cannot upload or delete.
- Editors can upload, edit, and delete their own files.
- Admins can manage all files regardless of who uploaded them.
